Thermal disinfectors of the HYG series

We develop and produce our thermal disinfectors in Remstal in Baden-Württemberg. This has been the case for decades, together with experienced partners from the region who, like us, are measured by the strictest quality standards.

We have been supporting the users of our thermal disinfectors directly since the beginning of 2020. A big pivot and an ambitious project. This is made possible by our nationwide service network, which we launched at the beginning of 2020 and are consistently expanding.

IC Medical GmbH has been developing and producing innovative devices and accessories for practice hygiene since the 1980s. So we know the questions that arise about mechanical instrument preparation in dentistry, gynecology, urology, otolaryngology, dermatology, podiatry and surgery. Many of our components have become popular classics among users that they no longer want to be without. These include, for example, the Oxides ThermoTabs as process chemicals, many adapters for the injection rails, the “MRD 4000” automatic denture cleaning machine, the “IC Keys” hygiene keyboard, to name just a few. Some are so beautiful that they have won us design awards. They are all completely easy to use.

We have been developing and producing thermal disinfectors, as users usually call the cleaning and disinfection devices, or RDG for short, since 1996. With thermal disinfectors, monitoring of the entire cleaning and disinfection process is integrated. This means that the RDG itself controls and documents all relevant parameters. The result is standardized and at the same time reproducible, i.e. valid, processes. With thermal disinfectors, disinfection is carried out thermally. Specifically, hot water with a temperature of at least 90 degrees Celsius, which acts on the instruments for at least five minutes, ensures safe and validatable disinfection. The thermal disinfectors from IC Medical can do this; they do what the European standard DIN EN ISO 15883 requires. They also meet the requirements of the Medical Device Operator Ordinance and the RKI guidelines for the reprocessing of medical devices.
